At first, I thought of refuting the idea that "elderly" people, like myself, are refuting climate change; but the title is about "elderly leaders in positions of power." But then who elects these status quo politicians to protect running on what kind of platforms? What percentage of younger people would cast their vote for an elder if they had a choice for a younger candidate, if voting at all? Somehow lack of scientific respect and civil responsibility are abettors in climate denial, so education needs to improve from the bottom up.
