I do like to read history but clearly don't understand it well enough. My viewpoint is that embracing Ukraine into NATO's security will stop one mad man from using it as a crazy excuse to invade a country to protect his sovereignty vs mass slaughter of innocent people. Have to get back to the drawing board.
