I hope this dreadful description will not deter any reader from bypassing this important internal examination to try and catch any beginning polyps that can metastasise into something more horrid than sitting on a toilet seat. I wish my brother had done a colonoscopy that could have prevent bowel cancer that spread into his lungs.
