I retired 15 years ago as a teacher when bimodal learning online and offline together didn't exist. As you say, teaching is so much more than assignments, more "group work and opportunities for collaboration" ... an environment for socialization and caring ... hard to Zoom that on a flat screen. Not sure how students will ever recover respect for in class learning or impact on future society. Wish you strength and perseverance with much respect.
