My take as a retired teacher is curriculum and pedagogy have frequently adapted to social changes in the last decades. What has seemed to change is the attitudes of students and parents to want more specialty programs, individualism, and less standardization. For me, the classroom will always be a democratic place to teach important subjects with students of various abilities to find their voices and potential. Don't know how online learning can add that fairness value to social equality.
