Ode to Resolutions 2023
One moment can change a day, one day can change a life, one life can change the world. Buddha
What if your topographic brain has environmental input or run-off?
Imagine in the center is a lake … a mental confluence of thoughts …
Daily experiences, emotions, uncertainties and possibilities;
A filtration of multitude of contacts to sustain or dissolve,
A reflection of currents from prevailing paradigms stratified —
Calmness, agitation, regression, deeper darker sunk hostilities
Into colder, denser zones; no warm turnovers of aerated thoughts.
Avoid the centrifugal dank indifference of superimposed Ego
Of strange hues of striated ideologies, intolerance of differences,
Or sedimentary pollution to foul detriment on the bottom of your soul.
Stop the dead-end driftwood over troubled waters but seek evolution.
Let permutations of nature suffuse ecology’s daily fresh streams.
Let inspiration be the wavelet’s light dance birthing new consciousness.
Last of all, who would stop by your lake and take a drink?
