I’ve adapted this story from a newsletter about three stonecutters because it resonates with my network marketing journey and lifelong philosophy.

Network marketing is about stories and creating an environment where people hope to find a winning solution to their problems in more ways than just selling a product. Sometimes a new perspective can change goals and future destination.

Once a new cathedral was being built by three stonecutters.

Passing by, a traveler stopped to watch their work.

He asked the same question to each worker ​about how they felt about their work. Surprisingly, he heard different perspectives.

The first stonecutter responded less enthusiastically, “I am cutting stone.” He saw his work as a means to a simple end.

The second stonecutter said with a little more pride, “I am building a great wall. I am contributing to an important part of the cathedral that will long stand after my time.”
