Excerpt: Chapter One … part 2

Teen Girl and Grandma discuss time frames with pictures on the sand representing the Past, the Present and the Future with the crucial Me-Dot. A passing dragonfly represents the fragility of time. Whose fault is it?

What is time worth if you make bad choices and forfeit the future?

“Remember my one rule about living?” she asked quietly.

I forgot but knew I would hear again.

But with the cards you have now, you don’t play games. You know, in the game of Solitaire, you can have all 51 cards right…
