Without a doubt, social media and smart phones have played havoc with teenager's alienation from the real world and normal rites of passage to adulthood. The grooming of Selfies, to like or to hate, has radicalized our culture and changed our moralities of what is right or wrong where Self rules. The big question is who cares enough about our teenage children to respect their rights without subjugation to media control and profits. Does Facebook care? Does Mr. and Mrs. Zuckerberg worry about their daughters?
